Bottle Collection

Whenever a large attendance of families is anticipated at the school, you can expect bottle collections to take place. Bottle Collection supports Jr. High initiatives and collections are ongoing. Feel free to contact FANHS, should you wish to make a donation outside of a date listed below.

The Grade 9 Adventure Trip occurs annually at the end of the school year to celebrate students’ educational journey at New Horizons School. Fundraising efforts for this multi-day trip take place throughout the year through Bottle Collection in-school and during all events where families visit the school, as well as through student run concessions.

Upcoming Collections:

  • October 25 | Halloween Dance
Please bring your bottles and change to support the Bottle Drive & Concession!

**Should you have a considerable donation outside of dates listed, please reach out to FANHS.

Code Ninjas now offers two special promotions for NHS families:

To activate this bonus, parents simply need to email Code Ninjas after enrolment, indicating that they are from NHS.

🔹 5% Donation on Events + Discount for Parents: For one-time events such as Camps and Parent Nights Out, parents can use the discount code NEWHORIZONS at checkout. This not only gives you a special discount, but Code Ninjas will also donate 5% of that event’s revenue to FANHS.

Thank you for helping us make magic! We loved seeing so many families dress up, dance the night away, and enjoy the photo booth, auction, and raffle at this year’s Halloween Family Dance. Congratulations to this year’s 50/50 winner who went home with $200! Special thanks to the families who donated goods or time to ensure the success of this event, as well as the teams who created the Jr. High fun zone and sensory friendly space. The Grade 9 Adventure Trip students are grateful for your support of their concession.

An Alternative Option: Direct Donations

“No Fuss” fundraising is an option that some families choose. Should you wish to make a monetary donation to FANHS rather than participate in purchasing from our fundraisers, we would be grateful for your support.

Donations by cash: Please email the FANHS Treasurer first, then deposit your cash donation in a clearly marked envelope in the silver FANHS mailbox in the Kindergarten hallway.

Donations by cheque: Please email the FANHS Treasurer first, then make cheque payable to “FANHS” with memo line: Direct Donation and deposit your cheque donation in a clearly marked envelope in the silver FANHS mailbox in the Kindergarten hallway.

Donations by EFT: Please email the FANHS Treasurer first then e-transfers to payments@fanhs.ca with a memo: Direct Donation.

**FANHS is unable to issue tax receipts.  However, parents wishing a tax receipt can donate directly to the Board (New Horizons Charter School Society). Please contact NHCSS to coordinate.
