Hot Lunch Program

Hot Lunch is organized by the Fundraising Association of New Horizons School (FANHS) and run by parent volunteers. Hot Lunch is offered on Thursdays throughout the year. Hot lunch orders are processed in batches. This first round of orders will include lunches on Nov. 3, 17, 24, Dec. 1, 8, 15. No orders for these dates will be allowed after October 26th.

How to Register and Ordering Details

Getting Started…

(Your email address will be your user ID to login for future orders. You will receive email reminders when order deadlines approach as well as weekly reminders about your child’s hot lunch order.)

Mon/Wed (Star) Kindergarten class

Mon/Wed (star) kinders will also be able to order on two selected dates. Once they register their child, and indicate which class they are in, the appropriate ordering menus will show up. Parents of these kinder kids will not have access to the Thursday ordering dates for the kinder student, but will have access for their other children.

Staff, Teachers, Volunteers

Volunteers/Lunch Supervisors are welcome to register themselves as a “student” in the class named “Volunteer”. They can pick their orders up at the lunchroom, or we can send them to the classroom they are supervising if they know which one it is and let us know ahead of time.

Staff are also able to order using the same process, by registering as a “student” in the class “staff”. Their orders will all be brought to the staff room.

Volunteering for Hot Lunch

We are looking for volunteers to help sort and distribute hot lunch orders to the students on Thursdays. Volunteers are needed from 11:30 – 12:45 (approximately). If you are available to assist, please sign up on the website when you order lunches, or contact volunteercoordinator.FANHS@gmail.com
