Spirit Week at NHS
This week is Spirit Week at NHS. The Junior High Leadership class is inviting students and staff to participate by wearing items that match the theme for the day.
- Monday: Rainbow Colours
- Tuesday: Twin Day – Match outfits with one of your friends.
- Wednesday: Hats on for Mental Health Day.Wear a hat to show your support for mental health.
- Thursday: Dress as your favourite character.
- Friday: Jersey Day.
We Walk for Water
The Leadership Class has also begun a We Walk For Water campaign.
Until May 10 we will be continuing our coin drive for WE walk for water. We have a big water jug in the office with the goal of filling it with coins by May 10. Every $25 gives clean water for life in communities in developing countries.
If you have some coins that are piling up, please help to support the Walk For Water campaign.
On May 10 we will be doing a water walk at school to cap off the event and raise awareness to the issue.

- The NHS choir has been invited to sing O Canada at the Sherwood Park Music Festival Grand Concert at 7:00 p.m.
