NHS Recognizes Pink Shirt Day

Because many students were out of the school on a field trip yesterday, NHS celebrated Pink Shirt Day today.

The audience at our assembly was definitely a “sea of pink.” Through a combination of videos, spoken words, and performances by the T/Th Kindergarten class and Grade 2K, students were made aware of what Pink Shirt Day is all about, and how each of us can play a role in reducing instances of bullying.

Thank you to Ms. Kooger and Ms. Stephens for organizing and running the assembly. Thank you also to student Lexis P. for taking a leadership role and speaking at the assemble as well.
