Black History Month at NHS

Every February, people across Canada participate in Black History Month events and festivities that honour the legacy of Black people in Canada and their communities. NHS honours this important commemorative month in many ways. In addition to classroom activities, research projects and artwork, you’ll see posters throughout our hallways! Students can engage with these posters by casually reading them or by finding the answers to the corresponding crossword puzzle created by some of our grade 9 students!
