Monday, September 17 (Day 1)

• It’s Picture Day!
  • Flyers were sent home with students with information.
  • Remember to bring your smiles!
• Junior Choir Practice (Grades 2-4)
  • Students interested in joining our Junior Choir have practices on Mondays during lunch recess.
  • The choir is being directed by Ms. Kandace Graham.
• Reach (Grades 8-9)
  • Reach is a fast-paced quiz challenge testing both knowledge and speed of recall of various topics.
  • Students interested in joining the Reach team meet in the Learning Commons at lunch recess on Mondays.
  • A grade 6-7 Reach practice tile will be announced soon.
  • Reach is coached by Ms. Vigfusson.

• Tuesday, September 18 (Day 2)
  • Senior Choir Practice (Grades 5-9)
    • Students interested in joining our Senior Choir have practices on Tuesdays during lunch recess.
    • The choir is being directed by Ms. Kandace Graham.
  • School Council Meeting (7:00 p.m. in the school Learning Commons)
    • We hope you can take some time to join us as we work together to make New Horizons School a great place for our children.

  • Registration Deadline for Kathleen Nilles Presentation
    • New Horizons School is fortunate to have Kathleen Nilles share her insights and tips on raising the gifted child on Thursday, September 20 at 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
    • This is a no-fee event.

    • All parents are welcome to attend.
